Move to the Beat!, Mini Musical and Aloha, Ukuleles! are just a few of the fun music camps offered this summer by the Carlsbad Educational Foundation.  Move to the Beat! is a hands on percussion class using authentic world instruments found in traditional drum circles.  Mini Musical is about having fun with friends singing, dancing and performing on stage.  In Aloha, Ukuleles we are off to the islands to experience traditional folks songs on ukuleles. 

Other half day CEF camps for music lovers Music Recording Studio and Guitar and Songwriting, offered together for a full day of musical fun. Guitar and Songwriting teaches simple guitars chords and lyric writing skills to create original songs. In the afternoon at Music Recording Studio get a crash course in basic recording techniques to produce your own original music.
